The 911 Center would like to announce that the residents of the City of Rochester and Monroe County can now be notified by cell phone call or text message of major incidents in their area. By registering your cell phone when Police or Fire Officals need to notify residents in an emergency 911 will already call your home phone. With this service you will also get either a call to your cell phone or a text message with the information about the incident. CITY COUNCIL PASSES 2008-09 CITY BUDGET UNANIMOUSLY. Mayor Duffy Credits Community Input in Designing Successful Budget Plan.
